Meeting of ruling coalition ends in Baluwatar, all-party meeting begins

Kathmandu, December 19

The meeting of the ruling coalition is over.

The all-party meeting started after the meeting of the ruling coalition Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, CPN-Unified Socialist, Janata Samajwadi Party and Rastriya Janamorcha at the PM's residence in Baluwatar.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba convened an all-party meeting on Sunday to discuss ways to open the parliament and ratify the agreement on the US aid project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki informed that the issue of MCC was discussed in the ruling coalition in Baluwatar before the all-party meeting.

The main opposition party CPN-UML has stated that it will not attend the all-party meeting.
Apart from UML, leaders of other parties in the House of Representatives will also participate in the me eting.
