Authorities in Beijing have allowed automatic taxis to operate. Such vehicles called robotaxi will be operated in the southeastern part of the capital. Currently, the service is available in an area of 60 square kilometers in Yizhuang, Beijing. It is planned to operate a large number of such taxis as the test is successful.
