Kathmandu, December 16
On Thursday, the last trading day of the week, the stock trading gauge Nepse index has declined by double digits. The Nepse index has dropped by 37.87 points to 2376.74 points after the sharp fluctuations throughout the day.
The transaction amount has also decreased. Shares worth Rs 4 billion were traded on Wednesday but could not reach Rs 2.5 billion on Thursday. A total of 537,960 shares of 224 companies have been traded through 37,236 transactions during the day. Accordingly, the transaction amount has been stopped at Rs 2.30 billion.
