Karnali Pradesh, Congress parliamentary party leader Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has started preparations to submit a demand for a new chief minister. For that, he is engaged in discussions with party leaders and cadres.
He said that he was preparing for the demand for the post of Chief Minister and would submit the claim to the state chief shortly. State Chief Govinda Prasad Kalauni has set a deadline of 7:30 pm today to submit the demand for the new Chief Minister.
The process for forming a new government in Karnali has started after Mahendra Bahadur Shahi resigned from the post of Chief Minister on Monday. As per the agreement reached with the Nepali Congress, even the leaders of the parliamentary parties of the CPN-Maoist have resigned.
