Prime Minister Deuba leaves for East to inspect flood-landslides affected area

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has left for the Eastern district to inspect the damage caused by floods and landslides. On Sunday, Prime Minister Deuba left for Sunsari, Morang, Ilam and Panchthar to inspect the damage caused by the floods and landslides.

Prime Minister Deuba’s personal secretary Bhanu Deuba said that Prime Minister Deuba had come out to inspect the damage in the Eastern district. Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on Sunday evening. On Thursday and Friday, Prime Minister Deuba inspected the damage caused by floods and landslides in the far-western states.

The government is preparing to provide immediate and long-term relief to the flood and landslide affected areas. Last week’s floods, landslides and inundation have killed more than 100 people and caused extensive damage to crops and infrastructure.
