Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has mobilized modern equipment to search for climber who has lost contact while returning from Mera Peak. The association has mobilized equipment and rescuers to search for the missing Chheten Sherpa.
A meeting of the Central Working Committee held on Friday decided to deploy additional manpower to search for Sherpa who has been without contact for the past four days. He was out of contact on the way back after a successful ascent of Mera Peak.
The association has been searching for him in coordination with the company and other government agencies, said Santa Bir Lama, president of the association.
