UML General Convention to be shifted to Chitwan instead of Butwal

The venue of the 10th National General Convention of the CPN-UML to be held in Butwal next Mangsir has been changed. The general convention will be held in Chitwan instead of Butwal. A meeting of the Standing Committee held on Thursday decided to shift the tenth general convention from Butwal to Chitwan.

A leader informed after the meeting that the Standing Committee meeting on Thursday reviewed the Legislative General Convention held at Godavari on Asoj 15-17. Also, a 10-point agreement will be discussed at Thursday’s meeting, a standing committee member said. At a function on Wednesday, third-party leaders appeared dissatisfied after Chairman KP Sharma Oli said the 10-point justification was over.

Meanwhile, a 21-member core management committee has been formed under the coordination of Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ to make the tenth general convention a success, party spokesman Pradip Gyawali told reporters after the meeting.
