CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that he will hand over the leadership. He says that he will give way to a friend who has a good ideology, direction and good deeds.
Addressing the 22nd National Conference of the Aneraswobiyu (Revolutionary), Dahal said he wanted to take a leave of absence if a qualified person came.
“It is heard that Prachanda has no job within the Maoists, he has to move forward on his own. I think it would have been fun to sit inside and write a book, if I had found a character to take responsibility for,” he said.
Prachanda added, “Come up with a good idea. I will take leave by declaring a successor, but I am not in such a hurry as Mao made Limpia his successor. The same Limpia went to shoot Mao. We don’t need such murderous leadership.”
