The National Assembly has approved by a majority the proposal to consider the Appropriation Bill, 2078. Finance Minister Janardan Sharma had tabled the proposal in today’s meeting of the National Assembly.
During the meeting, CPN (UML) MP Bhairav Sundar Shrestha accused the ordinance on political parties of inciting war. He also objected to the non-publication of information regarding the action taken by his party against 14 lawmakers who were involved in anti-party activities.
The next meeting of the National Assembly will be held on Asoj 7 at 2 pm.
