The 11th Beijing International Film Festival, organized by China Media Group and Beijing Municipalities under the direction of the National Film Bureau, kicked off on September 21 at the Yan Chi Hu International Exhibition Centre in Beijing. The 11th Beijing International Film Festival has been inaugurated by Shan Hai Shung, Deputy Head of the Central Publicity Department Director and Editor-in-Chief of China Media Group, and Chairman of the Eleventh Beijing International Film Festival Coordinating Committee.
“New Opportunity, New Situation” is the main theme at this year’s Beijing International Film Festival. The festival hopes to bring new opportunities for filmmaking and create a new situation by joining hands with film personalities from around the world.
