China’s three least basic things about Sino-Us relations

On July 26, Wang Yi, a member of the State Council and Foreign Minister of China, met with US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman in Tianjin to present three minimum basics on how to effectively control tension between the two countries and prevent uncontrolled relations between China and the United States.

First, the United States should not challenge and discredit China’s distinctive socialist path and system. China’s path and system is the choice of history and choice of the people.

Second, the United States will not be able to stop China’s development process. The Chinese people still have the right to a better life. China has the right to make modernization a reality.

Third, the United States will not violate China’s sovereignty, nor will it interfere in China’s territorial integrity. In the case on Xinjiang, in the case of Tibet, in the case of Hong Kong, human rights and democracy are not the problem. Taiwan is a part of China’s territory that is unchangeable.
