The Ministry of Health and Population has appealed no to crowd the vaccination center unnecessarily as vaccination is being done regularly. The ministry has urged the people not to panic as the overcrowding at the vaccination centers has increased saying that there will be shortage of vaccines. “As all citizens will be vaccinated in a phased manner by targeting the target groups, please facilitate the vaccination with your class-opening identity card and assist in the vaccination campaign without rushing to vaccinate others,” said Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, Joint Spokesperson of the Ministry.
Stating that the vaccines purchased by the government will continue to come to Nepal from Chin from Shrawan 3, the ministry has assured that the least 3.2 million vaccines will be delivered by Shrawan 25 and beyond. Stating that the government is preparing to all people above 18 years of age, the government has also informed that the vaccination campaign has been stopped in some districts to prepare for the next phase of vaccination.
