Supreme Court order will end party structure: Chairman KP Sharma Oli

CPN(UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli said that the decision of the Supreme Court will end the party structure. Addressing a meeting of the UML parliamentary party at the Parliament House in New Baneshwor, he said that it was wrong to order the party elected parliamentarians not to wearparty whips.

Stating that the minority vote has been ordered to form the government by recognizing the scrapped paper, former Prime Minister said that he would lead the government from the mandate again. He said that he would now play the role of constructive opposition in the parliament as per the order of the Supreme Court.

According to UML chief whip Bishal Bhattarai, the government has been demanded the compensate the flood and landslide victims and provide free treatment to the injured. The meeting also requested to make the vaccine against corona virus available to all citizens. During the meeting, Chairman Oli informed about the work done by the government under his leadership.

Chief Whip Bhattarai said that the party MPs who have been absent from the meeting for some time due to dissatisfaction have taken it seriously and stressed on the need to unite the party by implementing the 10-point agreement submitted by the task force.

He expressed his commitment to include the dissidents in the next meeting. He also said that a publicity campaign would be launched to expose the decision of the Supreme Court. By Muna Chand
