Prithvi Subba Gurung’s demand for CM again

Prithvi Subba Gurung has again claimed to be the Chief Minister of Gandaki.

Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung who failed to get a vote of confidence from the state assembly, has again filed a petition with the state chief demanding a majority including 32 MPs.

Gurung has claimed to be the chief minister along with a letter from Janata Samajwadi Party and Janamorcha Pradesh Samiti. Rastriya Janamorcha’s Krishna Thapa has submitted a letter of support to Gurung calling himself the leader of the parliamentary party.

The opposition alliance had on Friday submitted its demand to the Chief Minister along with 31 MPs.

A majority in the 60-members state assembly requires the support of 31 MPs.
