It has been raining all over the country since the monsoon started yesterday. It has been raining in Kathmandu Valley since yesterday and it has rained in most parts of the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in many parts of country. Heavy rains are also expected in Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces. The Meteorological Department has urged to take necessary precaution in places where there is a possibility of heavy rains.
The monsoon has arrived in the low-pressure areas developed around the Bay of Bengal in Province NO.1, Province No.2 and Bagmati Province from yesterday. With the onset of monsoon next week, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of the country.
