GOC Eastern Command LT. General Pande calls on Governor and Chief Minister

GANGTOK 13 JUNE
Lieutenant General Manoj Pande, Army Commander of Eastern Command along with General Officers of 33 Corps and 17 Mount Div pays courtesy call on Governor of Sikkim Ganga Prasad on 12th June. Lt. General Pande is in officeial Tour of Sikkim, during the meeting at Raj Bhavan
Had a detailed discussion in the context of the border areas of India and the help given by the Indian Army during the Covid period. Appreciating the brave actions of the Army in Sikkim, the Governor wished them a bright future. And under the leadership of General Manoj Pandee, also wished the work of the army to attain continuous heights.
Lt. Pande and his team also call on with chief minister Prem Singh Tamang at his official residence Mintokgang yesterday evening.
It was a courtesy call by the GOC and during the call on, he offered his
greetings to the Chief Minister and shared his satisfaction on the close cooperation between the Army and Civil administration in all spheres. He further assured for every possible assistance from the Army wherever required. Various relevant points regarding the state were also discussed.
