Council of Ministers reorganized

 
The caretaker Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has reconstituted the cabinet by including the Janata Samajwadi Party’s Mahanta Thakur faction in the government. Seventeen members of the Oli government have been sworn in as ministers today. They were administered the oath of office and secrecy by President Vidyadevi Bhandari at the President’s residence at 8.30 pm.
 
The new cabinet includes eight ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister Rajendra Mahato, and two ministers of state.
 
In the reorganized cabinet:
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli: Ministry of Defense, Home, Communications, Tourism, Industry, Commerce, Agriculture, and General Administration
Bishnu Poudel: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister
Rajendra Mahato: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development
Raghuveer Mahaseth: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs
Krishna Gopal Shrestha: Minister of Education
Sher Bahadur Tamang: Minister for Health
Sarat Singh Bhandari: Minister for Energy
Lilanath Shrestha: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs
Basant Kumar Nemwang: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport
Laxman Lal Karna: Minister for Land Management
Anil Jha: Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation
Vimal Srivastava: Minister for Labor and Employment
Umashankar Argaria: Minister for Forests and Environment
Chanda Chaudhary: Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens
Ekwal Miya: Youth and Sports Minister
Chandrakant Chaudhary: Minister of State for Energy
