The District Police Office, Siraha has suspended three policemen including the Assistant Inspector of Police for violating the police code of conduct.
The three policemen have been suspended by the District Police Office after a photo was posted on social media alleging that the police had stolen liquor from Puja Liquor Store at Gadhiya Chowk, Lahan Municipality-23 during the ban.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shaligram Sharma, spokesman of the District Police Office Siraha, Assistant Inspector of Police Nabal Kishor Thakur, policemen Annukumar Rai and Naresh Kumar Rai have been suspended.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sharma said that all the three have been suspended as per the Police Regulations 2071 BS.
