Kathmandu, May 26 :
Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Prakash Jwala and the high-ranking officials of the World Bank have made an onsite visit to the Naghdhunga tunnel road project this morning.
On the occasion, Minister Jwala took stock on the progress and status of the tunnel works.
Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Keshav Kumar Sharma is also participating in the monitoring.
Of the 2.6 kilometres, 600 metres of the tunnel road is left to construct, and the construction works of the main tunnel is expected to complete by this mid-October.
Likewise, the team is now visiting the ongoing expansion drive of the Nagdhunga-Muglin road section project.
