Two Ministers agreed to further expand contacts

On May 4, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a meeting with Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the sidelines of the meeting of the SCO Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Goa, India.

They discussed the current state of Russian-Pakistani relations, regional and international affairs, and exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan.

The Ministers praised Russia and Pakistan’s interaction on the global stage, including at high-profile multilateral platforms such as the #UN and the #SCO.

The officials agreed to further expand contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
