Activities are being done openly against China

It is understood that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has given oral instructions to the Home Secretary to celebrate the ‘Tibetan Uprising Day’ without using the flag and seal of independent Tibet. Earlier, the program of celebrating the Lhosar Festival by playing the national tune of independent Tibet on February 13 was done with the prior approval of the Prime Minister.

According to Source, in the first week of last February, the representative of the Dalai Lama in Nepal, Tsepri Lopan Tulku Ngawang Chokdup, took time to meet the Home Secretary. On the occasion of the meeting, they requested approval as they were going to do various programs. The Home Secretary informed the Prime Minister about the request of the Dalai Lama’s representative. Tibetan refugees in Nepal were allowed to hold the program after the Prime Minister asked Dahal to celebrate without using the flag and seal of independent Tibet. American Ambassador to Nepal, Swiss Ambassador, Bhawani Kharel of Human Rights Foundation, and other officials were present at the event.

On March 10, 1959, the day the Chinese army entered Tibet, some of the Dalai Lama’s people held a protest in Lhasa, and the group has been protesting against China on March 10 every year. Those countries which have supported the ‘One China policy’ have been banning such activities.

To date, Pushpa Kamal’s government has not issued a circular to any security agencies, including the district administration, to stop the preparations for the demonstration against China on the 10th of March. Over the past few years, under the pressure of Indo-Westerners, Tibetan refugees have started to openly act against China.

There are indications that the Pushpa Kamal’s government will also permit the celebration of the alleged rebellion day of March 10. Efforts are being made as much as possible to use the complex geopolitics of the country as a testing ground for the conflict of international powers and to fight with China by standing with Nepal, especially on the side of the NATO group. Pushpa Kamal’s government seems to be continuing this policy.
