Oath-taking of new ministers at 1 o’clock on Tuesday

The meeting of the power coalition has finalized the division of the ministry. It was agreed that UML will get 8 ministries, Maoists will get 4, Rashtriya Swatantra Party and RPP will get 3/3, and Janmat Party will get 1 ministry from the meeting held in Baluwatar for about five hours. The ministry to be given to JSP has not been decided. There was no agreement after JSP claimed three ministries. The Nagarik Unmukti Party has taken a stand that it will not join the government until the release of its founder leader Resham Chaudhary.

Some ministries have been finalized yesterday, the rest will be discussed and finalized on Tuesday morning. The final decision will be made only on Tuesday. Although there is an informal agreement that the Maoists will get health, communication and information technology, and land reform, there is a possibility that it will be changed. UML will take over the ministries of defense, foreign affairs, culture, tourism and civil aviation. UML has agreed to take 8 ministries including two state ministers.

The Rastriya Swatantra Party will get the Deputy Prime Minister and the Ministry of Home, Education and Labour. It has been agreed that the Deputy Speaker will also be given to a Rastriya Swatantra Party. It has been confirmed that the National Independent Party will get a Deputy Prime Minister, Home, Education, Labor, and a Minister of State and Deputy Speaker.

With 20 seats in the House of Representatives, the RSP has got an important ministry in the government and a deputy speaker in the parliament. Rashtriya Prajatantra Party will get Deputy Prime Minister and Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, and two other ministries. Leading the party, Chairman Rajendra Lingden will join the government as Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister. RPP has claimed the Ministry of Urban Development and Sports. Janamat Party has claimed the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply. The ruling coalition will hold a meeting on Tuesday morning and further review the ministry portfolio. The parties have informed the Prime Minister that the names of the ministers will be given before taking the oath. After that, the minister’s oath will be taken at one o’clock in the afternoon.

The allocation of ministries has been finalized regarding which ministries will be taken by which parties. The new ministers will take oath at 1 o’clock on Tuesday. The details of the partition with the names of the ministers will be announced on Tuesday itself. As something has to be arranged, today there will be talking even before the oath. An all-party meeting will be held on Tuesday at 4 pm after the taking oath of ministers.
