SRI LANKA-COLOMBO-GREEN APPLE-HARVEST

(221020) — COLOMBO, Oct. 20, 2022 (Xinhua) — Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe (1st R) is presented the country’s first-ever green apple harvest at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Oct. 20, 2022.

The President’s Media Division said in a statement that farmer M.P. Lakshman Kumara had cultivated the green apples on two acres of land from Thambuttegama in the North Central Province and handed over his maiden harvest to the president in Colombo.
