Kathmandu, Aug 6:
An earthquake measuring 5.3 in the Richter scale was felt this morning. The epicenter of the earthquake was Belkotgarhi in Nuwakot.
According to the National Seismology and Research Center, an earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale occurred at 5:26 am earlier today. The epicenter of the earthquake was around Belkotgarhi in Nuwakot district.
Dr. Mukund Bhattarai, a seismologist at the center shared that the earthquake was an aftershock of the 2015 Gorkha earthquake. The tremor was felt in Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Dhading and Kathmandu valley.
