While digging a boring near Jorpati Chowk in Kathmandu, gas with sand has come out.
According to the locals, while digging a bore for water at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, when the pipe was laid, gas with sand came out.
Residents of nearby houses have been affected by the release of gas mixed with sand. After the gas was released from the ground, officials of the Mines and Geology Department conducted an on-site inspection.
