There will be an investigation into the cause of the fire in Bhrikuti Mandap: Home Minister

Home Minister Balkrishna Khan has said that an investigation will be conducted into the cause of the fire at Bhrikuti Mandap. Similarly, he said that the goods of the disabled fund were destroyed in the fire and the government will help it.

While inspecting the place where the fire broke out on Sunday, Home Minister Khan said that the necessary materials will be handed over to the disabled fund via the National Disaster Mitigation and Management Authority.

He said that the books of the fund and the materials of the Social Welfare Council were
destroyed due to the fire. He insisted that there will be further investigation into how the fire started. During the inspection, he discussed with the council and treasury officials.
