A meeting was held between CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, who is visiting India, and Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. They had a meeting on Saturday.
Foreign Minister Jaishankar has said that he is happy to welcome Prachanda. Jaishankar said that there was a fruitful discussion on strengthening neighborly relations by focusing on economic cooperation.
Prachanda visited India on Friday at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
During the visit, Prachanda is scheduled to meet with Indian Security Advisor Ajit Doval and others.
