Nepali Congress MP Pushpa Bhusal has filed a nomination for Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Bhusal has registered her candidature on the proposal of Maoist chief whip Dev Prasad Gurung and with the support of MP Laxmi Kumari Chaudhary.
After the nomination, the agenda is to publish the list of candidates at 1:30 pm today. Voting for the vacant post of Deputy Speaker will start at 3 pm on Friday.
