The Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General has stated that the Comptroller and Auditor General’s Office and the State Comptroller’s Office and the local level payment system will be closed from Sunday. The office has informed the concerned office that, in accordance with the Financial Procedure and Financial Accountability Rules, 2077 BS, the payment system would be closed.
The payment must be stopped in accordance with the rules at least seven days before the fiscal year’s end. According to the guidelines, payments made in advance are required to amend the accounts for the evacuation and expenditure.
The payment of any amount that is not specified by the Appropriations Act will not be frozen in accordance with the regulations.
