The Makwanpur District Administration Office reports that arrangements have been made for all 10 local levels of Makwanpur to fill out the electronic passport (e-passport) application online for free.
Local-level support after receiving complaints that more people are filling out e-passport application forms online at the district administration office and that they are paying for the forms with their own money.According to Makwanpur’s Chief District Officer Rajendra Dev Pandey, plans have been developed to fill out free e-passport applications locally and in parallel.
He stated at a news conference held by the District Administration Office in Makwanpur that a national identity card could now be created and an online form for an e-passport could now be filled out without charge from the local level of the district.
He said that each day in the district, 90 individuals could fill out the e-passport application form, and 540 people could do so annually.
Prajia Pandey stated that an atmosphere has been created for the formation of public identity cards during a meeting with the chief and chief administrative officer of each of the district’s 10 local levels on July 5.
According to reports, a plan has been made to fill out e-passport forms locally to address the issue of the current overpopulation of the district administration office with e-passport and identity card holders. He claimed that since there is internet access, the form may now be completed from home.
