The UCPN-M meeting that was set to happen at 1 am on Wednesday has been postponed until 11 am on Thursday, according to UCPN-M leader Ram Narayan Bidari. Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, the meeting’s chairman, announced that it would require more time to complete the party’s organizational plan, therefore the meeting was adjourned. According to Bidari, the meeting was postponed because the party’s internal planning and the attention of the senior parliamentary leaders needed to be given to important matters.

On Monday, 41 central members of the UCPN (M) Central Committee had spoken their
opinions during the meeting that began on Sunday. The conference will be conducted on
Thursday, and the Maoists are prepared to pass organizational and political suggestions when the chairman asks questions. The central members who had already arrived at Pragya Bhawan left when the conference was suddenly postponed.
