Bishal Bhattarai, the chief whip of the major opposition CPN (UML), has stated that he does not expect morals from Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma.
Bhattarai stated at a House of Representatives meeting on Monday that maintaining one’s position despite different concerns being expressed about the finance ministry has an ethics problem, but the finance minister did not demand morality.
He stated that the CCTV footage will be deleted within 13 days despite the UML’s request for an inquiry into the tax problem.
According to him, any government base’s CCTV footage must be kept private for three months under the direction of the Home Ministry.
He declared that the provision had been made necessary and suggested that the justification for the deletion be given within 13 days.
