The National Private and Boarding Schools Association Nepal (N. PABSON) has decided to provide free education to the children of disabled and financially deprived police personnel.

The agreement to provide free education to the children of disabled and financially deprived police personnel under the social responsibility program was signed on Sunday between N. PABSON’s co-chairperson Subash Neupane and Nepal Police Wives Association president Kusam Lata Singh.

The agreement stipulates those students studying in N. PABSON affiliated schools should be recommended by the Nepal Police Wives Association.

Speaking on the occasion, Neupane, Co-Chairperson of N. PABSON, said that an agreement has been signed to provide scholarships to the children of economically deprived and immortal policemen and the Wives Association should make recommendations.

Singh, president of the association, said that the decision of freeing one student from the children of the financially deprived and immortal police every year for free and denying admission to other students was positive.

She informed that priority will be given to the families of lower ranking police personnel in the service.

The association has already signed an agreement with Chitwan Medical College to get an exemption in health treatment.
