Agriculture Minister should resign immediately

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the Agriculture Minister should resign immediately as he could not provide fertilizer to the farmers.

Speaking at a program organized by the All Nepal Peasant’ Federation in Lalitpur on Saturday, Oli said that the Agriculture Minister should resign immediately as he could not provide fertilizer to the farmers.

Stating that the minister was not appointed only to wave the flag, Oli argued that the agriculture minister should work for the farmers.

He said that the occasional milk holiday was not appropriate and did not benefit the farmers, adding that it should be ended forever.

Oli said that the current government has not been able to work in a farmer-friendly manner and production has declined and the situation created to import of billions of rupees of rice.

Similarly, Oli accused the government of failing to do anything for agriculture in an agricultural country.
