A court has issued an arrest warrant against Dinesh Maharjan, ward chairman of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-4.
Kathmandu District Court has sent a letter to the police to arrest and present CPN-UML-elected Chairman Maharjan.
The court has written a letter to Maharajgunj Police Circle on June 20 asking to arrest Ward Chairman Maharjan, former Chairman of Ward No. 4 Mohan Bahadur Bista, and former Ward Member Dhruva Prasad Tripathi.
A complaint was filed accusing these people of forging fake government documents while Bista was the ward chairperson. At that time, Maharjan and Tripathi were ward members.
