As directed by the government, the Nepal Oil Corporation reduced the price of petroleum
products.
The decision of the government came after pressure from several quarters regarding the recent price hike.
The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 20 per liter and that of diesel by Rs 29 per liter by the government.
With this, the petrol costs Rs 179 per liter and diesel cost Rs 163 per liter.
