At the front entrance of CPN-UML Jhapa Chairman Deepak Karki’s house in Gauradaha Municipality-3, a suspicious object has been found.
Chairman Karki said that he informed the police after seeing a pressure cooker connected to the wire in front of the entrance at around 5:30 this morning.
A team of Nepal Army personnel has been called in to dispose of the suspicious item, according to Area Police Office in Damak Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilip Giri.
DSP Giri said an investigation is currently underway to trace those behind the incident.
