Kathmandu, June 21
The ‘Bill designed to raise national debt, 2022’ and the ‘Debt and Guarantee (Twenty-fifth
Amendment) Bill, 2022’ were passed by a majority vote in the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday.
The bills had been tabled to the lower house of the federal parliament by Finance Minister
Janardan Sharma.
Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel, Chairman of the Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee, had
previously presented the Committee’s annual report for the year 2022.
The next meeting of the HoR is taking place at 1:00 pm today.
