Traffic resumes on Prithvi Highway

Kathmandu, June 18

The Prithvi Highway has come into operational. Landslides at Ghopte Bhir and Thadekhola in Chitwan’s Ichchakama-4 have kept it shut since the last night.

Two-way traffic had been closed since 11 PM last night, according to the Area Police Office,
Mugling. The landslide was removed and two-way traffic resumed from 2.30 AM.
Prithvi Highway, the main highway connecting the federal capital Kathmandu with the rest of the country has been repeatedly obstructed due to landslides at Ghopte Bhir, located between Mugling and Kurintar.
