After five days, the stock market rose

Kathmandu, June 16

On Thursday, the stock market, which had been gradually declining, gained slightly today. The stock market index Nepse, which had climbed by 60 points on June 8, had been steadily declining for the next five days. On Thursday, the NEPSE index increased by 12.57 points to 1,978.94.

Except for life insurance and investment, all of the categories’ stocks have climbed slightly today. A total of 35.94 million shares from 221 firms valued at Rs 1.187 billion were exchanged.

Most shares of Nepal Telecom Company have been bought and sold, totaling Rs. 138.8 million.

Andhikhola Microfinance, Community Microfinance, and River Phils Power Company have all
seen their stock prices climb by 10% today. Lumbini General Insurance and Rashtra Utthan
Microfinance both saw their stock prices drop by more than 3%.
