Rabi Lamichhane leaves television to start a career in politics

Kathmandu, June 16

Rabi Lamichhane, a tv personality, is about to enter politics. He’s left Galaxy Television to pursue a political career. On Thursday, he dismissed from Galaxy Television.

He is believed to have left Galaxy TV in order to participate in the next federal election, which will take place in October or November. He did not say where he will run in the by-elections, though. Those close to him are planning a press conference or a digital forum to announce his future plans soon.

Lamichhane, who came to fame as the host of News 24’s ”Sidha Kura Janata Sanga,” was lately engaged in Galaxy TV, which is also his investment. He had been operating a program named ”Sidha Kura” there too. In a word, the episode on Thursday is supposed to be the final one. After that, he’ll assign his program to a colleague.
