Kathmandu, June 12
Prem Bahadur Ale, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, laid the foundation stone for an arrival terminal building at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) (domestic sector) today during an event.
A temporary building will be constructed in view of the increasing flow of passengers, said TIA General Manager Prem Nath Thakur.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) is constructing the project, which will cost Rs 50 million and take a year to complete. The contract to construct 41 meters long and 24 meters wide terminal building has been awarded to Bright Multi Construction.
