Collection of 15 tons of garbage from Kanchenjunga Himal

From Kanchenjunga Himal, the Nepal Army has collected 15.37 tons of garbage. In the ”Clean Mountain Campaign-2022,” Unilever partnered with the Nepal Army to collect waste in the mountains.

Last year, the Nepal Army ran a mountaineering operation from April 15 to May 30. The
campaign gathered 3.02 tonnes of organic garbage and 12.35 tonnes of inorganic waste,
according to Unilever.

Unilever has partnered with Avni Venture Pvt. Ltd. as a recycling partner to ensure utilization.

The team who took part in the program collected garbage from Kanchenjunga during a 45-day period.
