Sagarmatha Jalbidyut Company issuing IPO

Kathmandu, June 8

Sagarmatha Hydropower Company Limited is considering an initial public offering (IPO).
The developer of the 9.6 MW Upper Mai Hydropower Project in Ilam Municipality, Sagarmatha Hydropower Company, would offer 54.88 million IPO lots to the project’s impacted citizens, the general public, its workers, and collective investment funds.

The company’s total capital is Rs 1.12 billion. A total of 54.88 million lots are being prepared for IPO, including 1.12 million lots for locals and 43.68 million lots for general, employees, and collective investment funds.

Prabhu Capital has been selected as the company’s IPO sales manager.
