Kathmandu, June 7
General Manager of Nepal Airlines Corporation, Dim Prasad Poudel, has been relieved from his post.
A cabinet meeting held on Monday sacked Poudel from his post as the General Manager of
NAC, according to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
Earlier, the Ministry had sought clarification from Poudel. The Ministry had recalled General
Manager Poudel to the Ministry, alleging that he worked against the NAC’s interest.
Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale, had taken the proposal to sack GM Poudel in the cabinet, alleging that Poudel was indulged in activities that were detrimental to NAC’s interest.
The then government led by KP Sharma Oli had appointed Poudel to the post for a term of four years.
