Kathmandu, June 6
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), Department of Hydrology and
Meteorology, the monsoon entered Nepal earlier than expected this year.
The MFD in its special weather bulletin on Sunday afternoon confirmed that the monsoon
made its entry into the country from Province 1 on Sunday and it will set in motion in other
parts of the country after a few days.
The MFD stated in a special bulletin that the monsoon is expected to arrive in Nepal on June 13.
The MFD, on the other hand, indicated that the monsoon would begin on June 10 on its official website.
The monsoon enters Nepal from the east and gradually moves west.
