Kathmandu, June 3
The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has urged vehicle owners in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces to affix mandatory embossed number plates on their vehicles.
The use of embossed number plates on all vehicles registered with the province’s Transport Management Office has been made mandatory.
On November 8, last year, the government decided to implement embossed number plates in the provinces of Bagmati, Lumbini, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim.
From July 16, the DoTM will be monitoring the implementation of embossed number plates on vehicles registered in the Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
