Kathmandu, June 3
Balendra Shah ‘Balen,’ the newly elected Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has returned to Sisdol for the second time.
After a long-standing difficulty with garbage management in the Kathmandu Valley, Mayor
Shah and Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol arrived in Sisdol.
Mayor Shah, who has declared garbage management a priority in the Kathmandu Valley, just met with Urban Development Minister Ram Kumari Jhakri on Thursday evening to discuss his plans.
Minister Jhakri, Mayor Shah, and Deputy Mayor Dangol addressed how to solve the situation in the Kathmandu Valley by collaborating with the Ministry of Kathmandu Metropolitan City on trash management.
