In a ten-month period, the Lamjung Home and Small Industries Office registered 635 home
industries. According to Mita Kumari Thapa, the office’s chief, the same number of domestic industries were registered during the current fiscal year’s July to April period. During this time, he claims, 253 domestic industries have been revitalized.
On the business side, 375 new registrations and 358 renewals have been completed. 970
domestic industries were registered from July to July of the previous fiscal year. 369 industries were renewed in FY 077/2078. In the sector of trade, 640 new registrations have been made in the last year. According to the Home Office, 558 visas have been renewed.
According to the administration, in the fiscal year 2076/07, 669 new domestic industries were registered. Only 468 household industries were registered with the office in FY 075/76. In the same way, 87 domestic industries have been renewed. During the same time period, 629 commerce registrations and 157 renewals were completed.
