Kathmandu, May 27
Madhav Kumar Nepal, former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist), has stated that the shipping sector somehow doesn’t exist in Nepal. He noted that while the budget featured many excellent things, it also included some undesirable things, and he showed his opposition in the House of Representatives on Friday during a discussion on the government’s policies and initiatives.
”The policy and program have a lot of positive aspects. Prioritizing agriculture, focusing on production, and tourism, and emphasizing employment, among other things, have all been included. ”However, certain incorrect initiatives were incorporated in the policy and program,” the Nepali leader stated. ”In Nepal, there is no need for large shipping business. That does not sit well with me.”
He stated that the country requires jobs and manufacturing rather than tall buildings and that Nepal should consider how to expand in this approach. He questioned the ambitious huge initiatives, saying that Nepal should review even those that would need years of investment and hard labor but would result in accomplishments.
